Synthesis of 1-(N-benzimidazolyl)-3-(N-substituted dihydropyridino)-propan-2-ol as active antibacterial and antifungal agents

The synthesis of 1-(N-benzimidazolyl)-3-(substituted dihydropyridino)-propan-2-ol were described and screened for its antibacterial and antifungal activity. The structures of the synthesised compounds were confirmed by LR, NMR and elemental analysis.
