Summary:Nitronyl nitroxide-radical-substituted triphenylphosphine derivatives have been prepared; the X-ray structures of {2-[4'-(diphenylphosphinyl)phenyl]-4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazoline-1-oxyl-3-oxide}, 2, and {2-[2'-(diphenylphosphinyl)phenyl]-4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazoline-1-oxyl-3-oxide}, 4, as well as preliminary results of the magnetic susceptibility studies showing ferromagnetic interactions for 4 are reported.
