Synthesis and some reactions of 3,5-diaryl cyclohex-2-ene-6-(1',2',4'-triazol-5'-yl-3'-thioxo)-1-one

6-carbethoxy-3,5-diaryl cyclohex-2-enone (1) was condensed with thiosemicarbazide ia boiling pyridine to give 2 which reacted with some electrophiles and nucleophiles to give substituted cyclohexenones.
