1-hydroxyyohimbine and its derivatives: New potent alpha(2)-blockers for the treatment of erectile dysfunction

1-Hydroxyyohimbine and its various derivatives are prepared for the first time. These novel compounds are found to be potent alpha(2)-blockers comparable to yohimbine itself.
