| Summary: | Proposed are a remote copy system and a remote copy control method capable of performing the operation of remote copy according to the user's usage status. Resource information representing a resource usage status is collected from a first storage apparatus installed at a primary site and a second storage apparatus installed respectively at one or more secondary sites, a transfer mode of differential data between snapshots to be transferred from the first storage apparatus to the second storage apparatus based on the collected resource information, and the first and second storage apparatuses are controlled so as to transfer the differential data from the first storage apparatus to the second storage apparatus based on the decided transfer mode. |
