The ophthalmic apparatus exhibits: a first formation for receiving a user's head in the first position, which is in one embodiment a generally curved formation approximating the shape of the user's lower forehead preferably with an indent portion for receiving the user's nose when the ophthalmic apparatus in the second position; and a second formation for receiving a user's head in the second position, which is in one embodiment a generally curved formation approximating the shape of the user's lower forehead preferably with an indent portion for receiving the user's nose when the ophthalmic apparatus in the first position.
