Clostridium difficile Novel compounds in enantiomeric excess that are inhibitors of bacterial methionyl synthetase (MetRS) are disclosed. Also disclosed are methods for their preparation and their use in therapy as antibacterial agents, and in particular their use in therapy for infection.
