Summary:The present exemplary embodiments relate to a dust separating apparatus for a vacuum cleaner. The dust separating apparatus for a vacuum cleaner according to present exemplary embodiments includes a cyclone in which a plurality of cyclone airflows is formed; a dust outlet for discharging dust separated by the plurality of cyclone airflows; and a dust container for storing dust discharged from the dust outlet, wherein the cyclone includes a body in which air flows along an inner surface thereof, and a pair of sides, each of the sides forming one of both side surfaces of the body and defining an outlet for discharging air.
