Summary:An organic EL display apparatus is sealed with a protective film composed of a resin protective film and an inorganic protective film. In the organic EL display apparatus, a planarizing film has a dividing region which divides the planarizing film into a region where organic EL elements are arranged and a peripheral region thereof. An end of the resin protective film is located in the dividing region or in the region where the organic EL elements are arranged, away from the planarizing film in the peripheral region. The inorganic protective film covers the end of the resin protective film and further extends to the dividing region.
