Summary:A power tool is connected to a battery pack including an overcurrent detector which detects overcurrent of a battery module and outputs a detection signal, and an overdischarge detector which detects overdischarge of the battery module and outputs a detection signal. The power tool includes a motor which is driven by electric power supplied from the battery pack , a trigger switch for setting the power supply from the battery pack to the motor in ON/OFF state, and an FET which sets the power supply to the motor in ON/OFF state on the basis of the detection signal from the overcurrent detector or the overdischarge detector
