Summary:An electrical power distribution system includes a circuit splitting mechanism configured to receive electrical power and to output a plurality of separate electrical circuits. A connector has a plurality of contacts, each contact connected to one circuit of the plurality of separate electrical circuits and each contact is selected to conduct at least one of an elevated current and an elevated voltage. A plurality of wires in a tubular housing is provided to carry the power over the plurality of separate electrical circuits in parallel and includes a connector with contacts. The wire and the contacts are each selected to conduct at least one of an elevated current and an elevated voltage. The system includes connectors and contacts that are arranged and adapted to enable a contact to be readily manually engaged with, and disengaged from, a corresponding contact.
