Summary: | A method of calibrating an input of a digital-to-analog (D/A) converter based on an output of an analog-to-digital (A/D) converter in an analog encoding apparatus including the D/A converter and the A/D converter, the method including inputting a certain range of input values to the D/A converter while the output of the D/A converter is connected to the input of the A/D converter, thereby producing corresponding output values from the A/D converter; generating a calibration table representing a relationship between input values of the D/A converter and output values of the A/D converter based on the input values in the certain range of input values inputted to the D/A converter and the corresponding output values produced from the A/D converter; and adjusting an input value of the D/A converter based on the calibration table while the output of the D/A converter is disconnected from the input of the A/D converter. |
