The monomeric units are coupled to each other via a labile carbonate (-O-COO-), carbamate (-O-CO-N-), urea (-N-CO-N-) or phosphate (-O-POO-O-) moiety. Such homo or heterodimer prodrugs are useful in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
