The invention is directed to a feed unit for delivering fuel from a supply tank, especially for internal combustion engines, of the generic type defined in the preamble of claim In a feed unit for delivering fuel from a supply tank () with a filter cup () having a central chamber () and an annular chamber () enclosing the latter, with a filter cover () which closes the annular chamber () and which contains an inlet duct () to the annular chamber () and an outlet duct () from the annular chamber (), and with a feed pump () which is inserted in the central chamber () and which projects with a suction connection piece () through an opening () into a suction space (), assembly is simplified and manufacturing costs are reduced in that the clearance diameter of the central chamber () is dimensioned so as to be greater than the outer diameter of the pump housing (), and an axially projecting pressure connection piece () is formed at the other end side of the housing () remote of the suction connection piece () and a mounting cap () which engages over the pressure connection piece () is formed at the filter cover (). A flexible sleeve () is inserted between the pressure connection piece () and the mounting cap () on the one hand and the suction connection piece () and opening () in the cup base () on the other hand and serves for the sealing, support and noise decoupling of the feed pump () in the filter cup ().
