A spring pad for ensuring electrical interconnection between electrical contacts of a printer carriage and corresponding electrical contacts of a print cartridge installed in the printer carriage includes a base having a first side and a second side opposite the first side, and a plurality of resilient bumps protruding from the first side of the base.
