The red organic electroluminescent compound having the formula: 1 wherein R 1 , R 1 ′, R 2 and R 2 ′ are independently hydrogen atom, or C 1- C 30 alkyl, aryl or hetero ring; R 3 , R 3 ′, R 4 and R 4 ′ are independently hydrogen atom, C 1- C 10 alkyl or alkoxy; one or more pairs selected from the group consisting of R 1 and R 3 , R 1 ′ and R 3 ′, R 2 and R 4 , and R 2 ′ and R 4 ′ can be connected in forms of -R 1 -R 3 -, -R 1 ′-R 3 ′-, -R 2 -R 4 -, and -R 2 ′-R 4 ′-; R 5 , R 5 ′, R 6 and R 6 ′ are independently hydrogen atom, or C 1- C 30 alkyl, alkoxy or aryl; at least one of R 3 , R 3 ′, R 4 , R 4 ′, R 5 , R 5 ′, R 6 and R 6 ′ is not hydrogen atom.
