Summary: | A method of producing a semiconductor laser module, and a semiconductor laser module including a semiconductor laser element having a front facet to emit output light and a rear facet to emit monitor light, an optical fiber on which the output light is incident, a light receiving element receiving the monitor light emitted from the rear facet, and a substrate for supporting the semiconductor laser element and the light receiving element. The method of producing the semiconductor laser module comprises a step of receiving the monitor light output from the semiconductor laser element by the light receiving element, and adjusting the position of the light receiving element with respect to the semiconductor laser element based on an amount of received light at the light receiving element, and a step of fixing the light receiving element to a substrate through a supporting member. |
