Summary:The article analyses and summarizes the regulatory framework for regulating the development of the tourism sector and regional programs on the example of the Dnipropetrovsk region. The set of barriers hindering the effective formation and development of ecotourism infrastructure in the region is revealed. A regional innovation model for the development of ecotourism infrastructure is proposed, the introduction of which will contribute to the growth of rural incomes, increased revenues to local budgets, reduced unemployment by creating additional jobs, enhancing the development of small business in the villages of the region and public-private partnerships by attracting private investment.
