The Nairobi Protocol on small arms
In May 2000, the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the ten countries of the Great Lakes Region and the Horn of Africa met in Nairobi, Kenya and signed the Nairobi Declaration on the Problem of Proliferation of Illicit Small Arms and Light Weapons.
