Selectivity modulated oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane with CO under microwave catalytic processing

This paper presents non-oxidative and oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane to ethylene, aromatics, and hydrogen over CsRu/CeO 2 catalysts in a microwave-heated reactor. Microwave-driven catalysis significantly lowered the reaction temperature and increased the ethylene/aromatics selectivity. Results...

Summary:This paper presents non-oxidative and oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane to ethylene, aromatics, and hydrogen over CsRu/CeO 2 catalysts in a microwave-heated reactor. Microwave-driven catalysis significantly lowered the reaction temperature and increased the ethylene/aromatics selectivity. Results demonstrate that the microwave catalytic process can activate ethane at lower temperature than conventional heating. This paper presents non-oxidative and oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane to ethylene, aromatics, and hydrogen over CsRu/CeO 2 catalysts in a microwave-heated reactor.
