Summary:A SO x -decorated porous carbon electrocatalyst that exhibits excellent 2e − oxygen reduction reaction activity is synthesized using UV-curing technology in combination with a pyrolysis process. The H 2 O 2 selectivity using the SO x -porous C shows 95.1% at 0.4 V and delivers a H 2 O 2 production rate of 604.2 mmol g cat −1 h −1 . Density-functional theory calculations reveal the reasons for the improvement of catalytic performance. An SO x -decorated porous carbon electrocatalyst with excellent 2e − ORR activity and stability is prepared via a UV-curving technology-assisted synthetic strategy.
