Man who strangled wife found not guilty

Without warning, [Alexander Richards] punched his partner in the head then strangled her with a towel until she lost consciousness. Justice Richard Refshauge found him not guilty on the basis of his mental illness and ordered him to submit to any ruling of the ACT Mental Health Tribunal.
