Summary: | Brasilia, Sao Paulo, Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre - The work stoppage begun 49 days ago by employees of the National Sanitary Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) threatens to spread to regulatory agencies all over the country - there already are three participating in the movement besides Anvisa: the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel), the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) and the National Water Transports Agency (Antaq). The national strike command should meet today with Sergio Eduardo Mendonca, the secretary of human resources at the Planning Ministry, looking for a solution: how to uncross the arms of almost 4,500 public servants. |
