But planning for the annual Alamance County Arts Council event is an ongoing process."We're pretty much working on this thing all year long," Cary Worthy, director of the Arts Council, said in a phone interview. "We go shopping in the late spring and early summer to look for artists and items that might be popular here." The 19th annual event, one of the Arts Council's major fundraisers, begins with a membersonly preview from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. However, Worthy said those wishing to join the Arts Council can pay the membership fee ($40) at the door and attend Friday's members-only preview. The event opens to the general public at 9 a.m. Saturday at the arts council, 213 S. Main St., Graham. It continues Mondays through Saturdays through Dec. 23."Christmas at Capt. |
