Summary: | "I'm looking for a job," [David Seigel], a New Mexico State University graduate student, said. "I'd kind of like to get a job in sales. ... I just want some kind of traveling sales job." Seigel, along with hundreds of other NMSU students, attended the NMSU Career Expo on Tuesday hoping to snag a job or internship that will greet them upon graduation or the end of the semester. "One thing I've noticed this time around is that I'm not giving out as many rsums," said David Palmer, a 26-year-old graduate student. "It's definitely a different thing at this fair." Today those thinking about graduate school will get the opportunity to meet with representatives from more than 60 graduate and professional schools from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lower level of Corbett Center during the 13th annual Graduate and Professional School Fair. The 20th annual Career Expo will continue from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today in the NMSU Corbett Center ballrooms. The expo will feature employers in the engineering, technology and science fields. |
