Summary: | LONGBEACH, Calif. - At the same time the Montreal Canadiens' faithful are getting set for tonight's Game 6 in the battle with Boston, Quebec natives Patrick Carpentier and Alex Tagliani will be fighting for grid position for the start of the Champ Car World Series season opener, the Long Beach Grand Prix. "I'm a Habs fan, I like to catch games when I can," said Alex Tagliani. "When we came here for spring training at Long Beach I went to see the Mighty Ducks and Canadiens play and afterwards I met up with my friends Stephane Quintal and No. 43 Patrice Brisebois. "I haven't been watching hockey too much - I haven't had time to watch it and being in the U.S. we don't see too much of the Canadian teams on TV," Carpentier said. |
