Davis is one of the NBA's top young players, an All-Star and a standout whose back-to-back triple-doubles in the first round of the playoffs brought him national attention. Sunday, four games into an Eastern Conference semifinal series against New Jersey, Davis spent a tough afternoon at the free-throw line in an 89-79 Charlotte loss. Wesley, the Hornets' starting wing guard, is close to Davis and has frequently given the younger player advice. He has said little about the free throws, except when they're at the line and he's reminding Davis to relax and "let it flow. |
