Summary:The chamber also called on the CT Council, which elected [Jiri Hodac], to dismiss him unless he does so himself. The deputies also said in the resolution that CT was not fulfilling its public service mission embedded in the law. Hodac was already called on to resign by the Senate, the upper house of parliament, on 3 January. [Ladislav Spacek] today confirmed that [Vaclav Havel] insisted on [Milos Zeman] to apologize to him. "Mr president considers it (Zeman's statement) a very sharp and unique attack by the prime minister against the president of the republic. He says this does not testify to good political morals in this country, that he will still have to analyse the prime minister's words and that he insists on the apology," Spacek said today.
