Summary:America's Favorite Chicken Company (AFC), parent of Churchs Chicken and Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits restaurants, announced today the signing of a $110 million agreement with Integrated Systems Solutions Corporation (ISSC), a division of IBM. ISSC will provide the comprehensive information technology systems for AFC and its two brands. The agreement is for a 10-year period. The AFC-ISSC agreement is the most recent installment in AFC's transition to aggressively grow its brands. The new systems will help AFC keep pace with and ultimately move ahead of leaders in the quick-service restaurant industry from a technology standpoint and will significantly improve restaurant operations and profitability, as well as improving the performance of all employees.
