Gas prices have dropped in South Carolina

While the Carolinas usually see some of the lowest gas prices in the country, right now the Midwest and Great Lakes region have experienced a spike in prices over the past few days, due to the partial shut down of a BP oil refinery in Whiting, Ind., said Mike Thornbrugh, a spokesman for QuikTrip.
