Dalton Shirley -- also known as Dalton French -- was pronounced dead at the scene after the vessel in which he was riding hit a concrete dock behind a house in the 3200 block of Northeast 38th Street in Fort Lauderdale, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
