Summary:Registrars from all over Scotland attended the AGM which was hosted in East Ayrshire this year because Cathy Dunlop, East Ayrshire Council's Senior Registrar, was elected last year as President of AROS. The organisation is one of the oldest established Professional Associations in the country and the oldest Registrars' Association in Europe. It provides a valuable networking group for Registrars and Assistant Registrars and works closely with National Records of Scotland to contribute towards a creating a customer friendly registration system.
