Summary: | To receive the Certified Human Resources Professionals (CHRP) designation, a candidate must write two exams and hold a university degree. But the degree doesn't have to be in HR and many candidates can pass the exams without any HR background, says Fran White, president of the Human Resources Association of New Brunswick. They really need to implement a minimum of three years in human resources before they will grant the CHRP. So last year, the association did just that. The new three-year experience requirement will come into effect in 2012. |
