Summary: | Some of the old stand-bys seem to have deteriorated, as well. Apartment 3G, for example, had a really wierd episode some months back. A man named Mark moved in and fixed up an apartment hurriedly for his wife who was due back from a business trip. When she got there she wanted them to go right to bed but she had this big mop of uncombed hair and, understandably enough, he said he had a headache. Next day he looked up an old girl friend who combed her hair and went off to Fire Island for the weekend. So far, straightforward enough but nothing special. For the next three weeks our friend Mark is trapped overnight on Fire Island by a hurricane while his wife is out on the West Coast for a business meeting. One day she says Oh, which means in comic strips that she feels ill which, in turn, means she is pregnant. |
