Summary:A Canadian study comparing high-dose raloxifene (150 rag) to continuous combined HRT (0.625 mg of Premarin and 2.5 mg of Provera) evaluates the effects of these treatments on endometrial thickness, uterine volume and histology in 135 postmenopausal women. At 12 months, a statistically significant increase from baseline for endometrial thickness and uterine volume was observed in the HRT group, but not in the raloxifene group.
