Since then, Canadian bankers have been closely following his initiatives and policies in this area. Although he and his cabinet have not outlined a definitive banking agenda to date, the president has left no doubt that he considers the granting of credit in the US to be a significant issue for his administration. Clinton has made it clear that he intends to propose solutions for major social and economic problems.
