Summary: | Marshall approved a design similar to the Officer's Model 1910 Garrison Belt of fine woven webbing but made of russet leather with a two-piece gold-plated buckle bearing the U.S. coat of arms surrounded by a wreath, and two unique calfskin holsters fitted for the .45- and .380-caliber pistols (not to be confused with .38-caliber pistols). The pistol kits issued with the M15 included a black leather general officer belt and buckle, leather magazine pouch, a unique black leather holster, three magazines serial-numbered to match the pistol, field and fringed general officer flags, a fringed American flag, a small general officer automobile flag and a metal automobile plate.
