Summary:So, for now, we watch with great anticipation the progress of the colleges involved in the new Alverno College learning college project (a three-year grant to Alverno, funded by the Lumina Foundation, to work with a consortium of 24 two-year colleges committed to exploring best practices among their member institutions and disseminating their findings), the continuing development of various learning outcomes projects at CCBC and CAC, and selected academic and workforce programs in other community colleges that appear to be locking on with dogged determination to improved practice in the development and assessment of student learning outcomes.
