Other guidelines and professional development resources can help us refine and apply our understanding of cultural humility in order to promote client-centred practice. Use stories in the media as opportunities to explore the application of morals and ethics with your friends, family, and colleagues-consider professional misconduct (politicians tend to offer an endless source of behaviours to consider), the debate about decriminalizing cannabis, end-of-life issues, and other matters with which society is grappling. 3. Being familiar with these principles and the tools available to help understand the ethical dimensions involved in real-life situations will help us arrive at good judgements, based on the relevant professional expectations and requirements.
