Summary:Finance directors might talk about reforecasting their budgets more frequently, but most are failing to do it, according to research by Cranfield School of Management. More than 70% of financial managers surveyed by Cranfield last year said they were aiming to reforecast more often, but a year later there has been only a small rise in the number that have done so: 38% of companies have issued quarterly reforecasts this year, compared with 36% in 2002.
