Summary:In the 10 days that the forward element spent in Haiti, the SPMAGTF helped establish steady-state command and control of ground and air, flew reconnaissance and assessment flights, and delivered more than 500,000 pounds of humanitarian aid. [...]Marine Forces Reserve is committed to augmenting the AC with the best-trained, most ready forces, capable of providing operational depth to combatant commands. During June 2016, Marine Forces Reserve conducted its fourth service-level integrated training exercise, which is a regimental-level live-fire and maneuver exercise featuring more than 2,300 Reserve Component Marines as the Marine Air-Ground Task Force elements (i.e., command, ground, air and logistics) at Twentynine Palms, California.\n We will continue to take advantage of these opportunities to ensure our people are well-trained and ready for the next fight.
