Since the first Gulf War, the concepts of interoperability, scalability and easy mobility have been a key logistics focus for armed forces worldwide. The core concepts here are to increase company or pla- toon autonomy in fuel and water with larger, trailer- mounted packet sizes, permitting longer periods of deploy- ment while maintaining the modular concept for interoperability with, for example, armored MRAP utility variants.
