Summary: | [Billy Falcon] just completed his latest CD, "When," and it's available in digital format on iTunes. But its physical release is getting special treatment: [Jon Bon Jovi] has invited Falcon to open for the band on its latest tour, specifically, at Monday's concert at the RBC Center in Raleigh. The one-nightonly performance will coincide with the release of "When," which will be available to the public for the first time in CD form. Falcon's friendship with Bon Jovi -- the singer and the band -- continues to this day. He's co-written more than a dozen songs on six of the band's CDs, including "Just Older," "Last Man Standing," "Everybody's Broken" and "When We Were Beautiful," among others. That's where the idea for the opening gig came about. Falcon said he'll get to perform about 40 minutes, and he plans to focus on the new material off "When." Falcon said "The Sewing Circle," which he referred to as "a bar band" he plays with back in Nashville, will perform with him in Raleigh. The goal, as mentioned earlier, is to make people aware of Falcon's powerful new CD, and one fan in particular had this to say: "Find Billy Falcon's new album, "When," Jon Bon Jovi said. "You can thank me later." |
