Summary:1,500 people attended [Paul]'s ceremonial funeral and that is the measure of Paul's popularity and respectability and gives an indication to the vast amount of people's hearts and lives Paul has touched. I had to go home and explain to our four-year-old son that his Daddy was dead. Sam thinks his Daddy is the brightest star in the sky and at bedtime looks out of his bedroom window to look for his Daddy's star to say goodnight. He has now stuck stars onhis bedroom wall thinking it will bring his Daddy back and asks every day when he is coming home. From being a confident, self assured little boy, Sam is now insecure, will not leave my side nor sleep in his own bed and constantly cries for his Daddy. I have been absent from work as a result of Paul's death, have been diagnosed as suffering from trauma and stress, experience frequent flashbacks and recurring nightmares. I'm a changed person and find it hard to focus or remain motivated from day today. I feel as though my life has ended as well. I try to find strength to get up each day to take care of our boys, as I now have no choice.
