Summary:A beaming Councillor Mario Silva said he felt as if he were ``walking on air'' after hearing yesterday that Ontario's highest court had stopped Tony O'Donohue's move to regain his Ward 3 seat. Silva defeated O'Donohue in the Nov. 14, 1994 election by 15 votes. (He was found to have received 2,976 votes with O'Donohue getting 2,961.) O'Donohue then surged ahead by nine votes in a recount conducted by an electoral officer, and by six votes in a judicial recount conducted by Chief Justice Sidney B. Linden of the Ontario Court, provincial division.
