Vassar College building gets dramatic transformation
Onto this facade, Pelli added a sleek and modern building, covered in bands of dark and light gray masonry, an homage, the architect said, to the designs of Bauhaus pioneer Marcel Breuer, who built neighboring Ferry House, a co-operative residence for students, in the 1950s.
