U.S. warns Europeans over aircraft subsidies ME2 Edition

Airbus - a consortium of aerospace companies from West Germany, France, Britain and Spain - relies on those countries' governments for much of its financing. Trade analysts estimate that Britain, France and West Germany have put about $15 billion (U.S.) into Airbus since it was formed in 1970.
