Summary: | "He was very angry and he was approaching her as if he would hit her," said [Arlene Nissen], a longtime friend of [Jean-Guy Tremblay], in describing the incident in fall 1997 after Tremblay left Quebec. Nissen told crown prosecutor Peter MacKenzie she had gone to Tremblay's apartment the day he blocked [Tamarah Hallson]'s path to try and broker a peace deal between the two parties. When she got there, Nissen said, Tremblay was refusing to let Hallson out of the apartment. Nissen said she finally convinced a very angry Tremblay to let Hallson go to work, but he changed his mind after she got in her car. |
