Summary:[Drucker]'s grocery store is still there at the corner of Samson and 92nd Ave. in Chomedey. When my parents still lived in Chomedey, I always slowed down at Drucker's as I drove by. Maybe I half expected to see Mr. or Mrs. Drucker at the window. I wondered whether time had been good to them. I will always remember them for the Christmas stocking and the two young boys who dreamed in the cold December so long ago. From that day until Christmas Eve, my best friend, Mike Simpson, and I used every opportunity to enter the contest. We no longer patronized the Cantor's next door with its superior selection of gum and candy. Drucker's had a smaller selection but we had been lured by the giant Christmas stocking. Switching allegiance did exact a certain price and chewing Chiclets instead of Bazooka was our price.
