Summary: | After Bergen County detectives questioned Mr. [James E. Stuart] for about seven hours on Saturday, he led them to Miss Galfo's body in a grave in a secluded, brushy area near Route 17 in Rochelle Park, Mr. [John F. Fahy] said. A Secret Pregnancy The pending birth was apparently a point of friction between Miss [Tarah M. Galfo] and Mr. Stuart in the hours before her death, Mr. Fahy said. "They argued over their continuing relationship and the pregnancy," Mr. Fahy said. He refused to provide any details. Mr. Kazimir, the pet shop owner, described Mr. Stuart as domineering with Miss Galfo. But, he added, she had never complained about Mr. Stuart or seemed apprehensive. He said one of his employees had seen the couple having "a little argument" outside the store shortly after she came to work last Wednesday afternoon. Miss Galfo did not seem distressed afterward and left as usual with Mr. Stuart at 6:30 P.M., Mr. Kazimir said. |
